Euna Celene Lineberry Viars, age 79, of Galax, VA passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was born September 20, 1935 in Coalwood, WV, daughter of the late Harbert and Annie Winesett Lineberry. She was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Nelson and two brothers, Dewell and Virgil Ray Lineberry.
Euna attended the Assembly of God Church in Galax.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James “J.P.” Viars; son, Stevie Viars; daughter, Jamie and Kenneth Sheffey; two grandchildren, Cody Blaine Sheffey and Tyler Chase Sheffey; great granddaughter, Skye Fyr Sheffey; two sisters, Donna Jean Rankin and Rita Woldridge, brother, Darrell and Geraldine Lineberry; special
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Richard Kingrea, Reverend Theron Phillips, Reverend Angie Lineberry and Reverend Cass Horton officiating.
Interment will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery in Galax.
