"The Rev. Mr. Worth. 53, is a native of Spiceland, Ind. He has a bachelor's degree from Taylor University at Upland, Ind., and a bachelor of divinity degree from Evangelical Theological Seminary at Naperville, Ill., obtained in 1940. He earned his way through school by preaching and took two years off his studies to manage the family farm when his father died. He served the Grace EUB Church at South Bend, Ind., from 1939 to 1944, and the Carmi, Ill., EUB Church from 1944 to 1946. After a brief fling in mission work, the Rev. Mr. Worth served from 1947 to 1949 at Cleveland Tabor EUB Church. He served the McDonaldsville EUB Church on Route 241 just over the Stark County line towards Massillon from 1949 to 1955 and built his own split-level home there. He now rents it out and plans to live there when he retires. At Canton Calvary, the Rev. Mr. Worth served a 600-member congregation at Gibbs and Fourteenth st. NE. The Rev. Mr. Worth and his wife, Carol, have two daughters, Connie, who is working at Winona Lake, an interdenominational religious camp in Indiana this Summer, and Janice, who will be a seventh grader this Fall, and a son, Wesley, who will be a freshman this Fall at Indiana Central College. When the Worths have time, they drive to McDonaldsville and work in their vegetable patch."
