Mrs. Bertha Fredricksen NIELSEN, 53, wife of Andrew M. NIELSEN, died Wednesday after a long illness from carcinoma.

Mrs. NIELSEN was born in Fountain Green, November 13 1881 a daughter of Earl C. and Bertha Madsen Fredricksen. As a child she moved with her parents to Sanford Colo., and lived there until her marriage in Manti April 1, 1903, to Andrew M. Neilsen of Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of the L. D. S. church and was well known for her devotion to the needy and sick in her neighborhood.

Surviving are her husband, a son and two dauthers, Mrs. Otto F. Clark and Grand Neilsen, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Kenneth Robinson, Springville, three grandchildren, a sister and four brothers, Mrs. T. E. Hanson, Hans Fredricksen and Esther Fredricksen, Sanford, Colo.; Fred Fredricksen, Los Angeles, Cal., and Ray Fredricksen, Oklahoma.
