Devin Leronn Smith, 37, Virginia Beach, Va., and a native of Hopkinsville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, in Norfolk, Va., as the result of a homicide.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Street Baptist Church, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. C.E. Timberlake officiating.
Burial will be at Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Gamble Funeral Home.
A native of Christian County, he was born June 22, 1977, the son of Patricia Knott Smith, Hopkinsville, and the late Phillip W. Morgan.
He worked as a barber in Virginia Beach and for seven years had worked at Member Only Barber Shop. He was a member of First Street Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his children, Kelyasier Smith, Fort Benning, Ga., Anthony and Kinsley Smith, San Antonio, and Devarier Smith, Hopkinsville; his brothers, Ronald Reeves, Hopkinsville, and William Morgan, Savannah, Ga.; and his sisters, Mrs. Rodney (Dana) Reeves Greene, Clarksville, Mrs. Eaphfrom (LaTrece) Rice, Atlanta, and Susan Morgan, Henderson.
