Minnie was born July 2, 1906, in Nopal, Texas, to Emil and Lina Buske. She was a homemaker.

Minnie was married to Edmund Englert on Oct. 15, 1924, in Olfen, Texas.
He preceded her in death in 1984. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Andrew Englert in 1997; and granddaughter, Marilyn Englert; and a grandson, Jimmy Englert.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Ashton and husband, Steve, of San Angelo; one daughter-in-law, Tillie Englert of Norton; one granddaughter, Joyce Hall of Prosper; two grandsons, Robert Englert and wife, Rose, of Norton and Stephen Englert and wife, Tammy, of Corpus Christi; three great-grandsons, Michael Englert of Corpus Christi, Thomas
Hall of Prosper and Tyler Englert of Norton; three great-granddaughters, Jamie Englert of Corpus Christi, Holly and Jennifer Enlgert, both of Norton; one sister, Lillie Heffron of Louisiana; and one brother, Fred Buske of Austin.
