James B. Loop Jr., 75, of Baldwinsville died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. (Syracuse, NY)

Born in Baldwinsville, he retired in 1978 after 26 years as a technical adviser with Arabian American Oil Co., Saudi Arabia. After retirement he worked four years with Anheuser-Busch, Baldwinsville. He was a member of VFW Post 153, Baldwinsville, and an associate member of the Hump Pilots Association. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a corporal with Battery A, 843rd AAA, serving as a range setter on a 40 mm anti-aircraft gun and sharpshooter.

Survivors: His wife, Barbara S.; a sister, Mildred I. Loop of Baldwinsville; a brother, Roger L. of Baldwinsville.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Friday in Chase Cemetery, Lysander. No calling hours. Gates Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements.
