Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 10am until the 11:30am funeral service at Jackson First Assembly of God. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Edwards was a Member of Jackson First Assembly of God, Jackson, MS and a member of the CMA, Southern Son Riders Chapter, Florence, MS. She was retired from Preferred Medical Insurance Company, Jackson, MS.
She is preceded in death by: parents, (2) brothers and (1) sister.
She is survived by: (1) Son, John Scott Edwards, of Richland, MS; (1) Brother, Mr. Major C. McGowan, Jr., of Terry, MS; (4) Sisters: Miss Rebecca R. McGowan, of Jackson, MS, Mrs. Betty Jo Raymond, of Jackson, MS, Mrs. Mary J. Jones, of Pearl, MS and Mrs. Delores F. Holliday, of Raymond, MS; (9) Nephews, (13) Nieces, and many great nieces/nephews; and great, great nieces/nephews.
