A native of Mauckport, born Aug. 5, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Martha Rhodes Montgomery.
She was a former employee of the H.A. Seinshiemer Co. in New Albany, a music teacher and a member of New Middletown United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Lillpop, her second husband, Mark S. Boyd, and a son, Merrill (Skip) Lillpop.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Ferriell of Corydon; a stepson, Rufus Boyd of New Albany; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Barnes of Louisville; a sister, Clara Temple of New Albany; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Sunday, Oct. 17, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in New Middletown UMC Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Goodwin officiated.
