Lee B. Duncan, of Llano, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Breckenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Born in Llano on December 24, 1927 to Ernest and Nora Duncan, he was a lifelong resident of Llano loving the land and people of the town.

He was a kind and serving man giving his life to his family, church, and community. He was a deacon, Bible study teacher, and devout member of First Baptist Church of Llano for 80 years.

He barbered in the same chair on Main Street for 61 years after 2 tours of duty in the U.S. Navy. Lee enjoyed the history of his county and passed down that love to others in his many stories he shared.

He was an avid outdoorsman with a large garden each year and had countless hunting and fishing adventures.

Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Virginia Ellen Boswell Duncan. Gone before him are also his parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

He took great joy in his 2 children and their spouses, Joel Duncan and his wife Dixie Marshall Duncan of Marble Falls, and Lou Ann Duncan Benson and her husband Jack Benson of Orange; his 4 grandchildren, Lendy Duncan Oldaker, Jana Benson Crouch, Jennifer Benson Wright, and Robert Curtis Duncan. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, as well as 2 sisters and countless nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Llano, Texas.
