A native Texan, she attended Mountain View Community College and rose to become Director of Network Services for United Way, Dallas.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Douglas Boyd, Sr.; son, Douglas Jr. and wife, Elly; son, Robert and fiancée, Candi; and her sister, Catherine Jones Skinner.
Rosary will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 28.
