She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. Her homemade rolls were a family favorite. Janet was always there to lend a helping hand to her family when they needed it. Her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her so much joy and happiness, especially after the passing of her beloved Denver. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Janet was witty and spunky.
In addition to her parents, and husband Denver, who was the love of her life; she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Keller; and brothers, Jack and Terry Ward.
Janet is survived by her loving daughter, Angela Kay Lyons, and her husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Stephanie Perrelli, Melissa Perrelli and Bryan Lyons; her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Emily, Madison and Kaylynn, as well as her nephew, Byron Faegre, that she loved like a son, and his family; her sister-in-law, Judy Pauley; brother-in-law, Charles Keller; sister, Lisa Ward, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at the Hubbard Hospice House for the care given to Janet and to Dunbar United Methodist Church for their prayers and support through this difficult time.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
