Richard (Dick) B. London, 74, of 1031 W. First St., Oil City, Pa., died peacefully in the home of his daughter, Ann, on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. The love of his family surrounded him then and always. Dick was born in Punxsutawney, Pa. on January 3, 1932, a son of the late Wilber London and the late Edna London Neelon. He moved to Erie when he was a teenager and graduated from Strong Vincent High School. He attended Edinboro University where he met the love of his life, Margaret Ann Lutz London. He served his country in the US Navy, a veteran of the Korean Conflict. After his tour of duty he was honorably discharged. He worked for many years for the unemployment office in Oil City where he retired as a law judge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret London. Survivors include his five children. Dick had three daughters, Ann Kukla, Susan London, and Amy Fecko and husband Frank, all of Erie; two sons, Michael London and wife Jane of Houston, Texas, and Mark K. London and fiancée Stacey Backer of Oil City; and 10 grandchildren, Nikki and husband Bob, Becky, Andy, Christiana, Sammy, Megan, Evan, Brittany, Danny and Sarah. He is also survived by a brother, Peter C. London and wife Carla of Erie. What Dick loved most was spending time with his family. One of his favorite rituals was Friday night dinners, preferably at the CYS club. He was a lifelong member of the Eagles, Moose, VFW and Sportsmen's Club. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his hunting camp. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite team was the Cleveland Browns. He's looking for a Super bowl win this year, much to the chagrin of those Steelers fans.
