Annie Mae Welch Garrett, 75, of Mountain City, Georgia., widow of Wilton B. (Jack) Garrett died December 26, 2014 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late George W. Welch and Beuna Pennington Welch. She lived her entire life in Rabun County. She had retired from Burlington and was a homemaker and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Besides her husband and parents., she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Welch Hunnicutt. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Garrett and Michele Garrett Darnell, a grandson. Three brothers, John H. Welch, Cecil Welch and Ralph Welch and six sisters, Daisy Thompson, Phyllis Welch, Glenda Welch, Sandra Peeke, Elizabeth Shirley, and Dr. Dorothy Welch also survive.
