Passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Owosso Memorial Healthcare Center. Age 67 years old. Kim was born July 26, 1947 in Otisville to William and Dorothy Stoddard. She married James Turner Sr. on September 5, 1964 in St. Charles. They had previously resided in Blue Lake, Gladwin and St. Charles. Kim enjoyed being with her grand-children, snowmobiling, camping, fishing and traveling. She had been employed as a bus driver for Chesaning Schools and Head Start.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Jim and their three children, Jim Jr. (Kim) Turner, Denise Turner, Cammie (Ted) Wendling; eight grandchildren, Andrew (Kathleen) Turner, Nathan (Jodi) Turner, Shannon Turner, Kayla Turner, Brandon Turner, Tyler Wendling, Brett Wendling, Alex Wendling; great grandson, Logan Turner; brother Mic (Barb) Stoddard; sister, Gail (Mike) Beuerle. She was preceded by her parents, sisters, Melody Weidman and Sandy Ackerman and brother, Bob Hardaker.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Rev. Ernesto Mariona will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, St. Charles. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.
