Fort Benton—Verna C. (Drewiske) Sullivan, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2014.

Verna was born December 13, 1920 to John and Cecelia (Kaiver) Drewiske in Great Falls. She married James W. Sullivan on April 26, 1940. To them were born seven children, four girls and three boys. She was very active in the Fort Benton community. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and Senior Citizen Center, and a volunteer and member of many clubs. Verna loved being an Avon Lady for 45 years. She loved dancing and playing any kind of cards. She would play cards at "the drop of a hat".

Survivors include her four daughters; a son; two daughters-in-law; a brother-in-law; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; sons, Jim Jr. and Ron; parents; brothers, John and Tony; sisters, Jeannie, Tess, and Mary.
