After the War, Martha moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. She soon met and married the love of her life, W.B. "Dutch" Hahn, M.D. Together they raised three daughters and a son. Martha's graciousness was accented by her charming Mississippi drawl. An accomplished cook, she loved to entertain her many friends and family. Her holiday tables were full, busy and delicious.
She was active throughout her life with the Junior League of Austin, Junior Helping Hand, Travis County Medical Auxiliary and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. She especially cherished her friends in her dinner club and sewing club and birthday club. Always the first to help a friend or neighbor in need, Martha loved easily and was loved by many.
