Large Attendance at Young Funeral

Belt, March 11--Funeral service for the late Mack J. Young, who died last Sunday morning in Anaconda, and whose body was brought to Belt for burial, were conducted Wednesday at the M.E. church. The funeral was largely attended and interment was in Pleasant View cemetery. Those attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Blanche Young and children of Virgille. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Young of Great Falls, Mrs. M.C. Young, Harvey Vanestane, and Miss Helen Vanestane, all of Anaconda, Miss Margaret Young of Helena, Mr. and Mrs. C. Sederholm, Mr. and Mrs. T. Heron and R. Heron, of Tracy, Mrs. Nan Carey and son and Mr. and Mrs. W. Jeffries, all of Great Falls.

Mr. Young was born in Clarion, Penn., May 10,1862 and came to Montana in the fall of 1881. First going to Miles City where he taught school for a short time. He came to Belt in 1897 and made his home here until 1913. He then removed with his family to Anaconda where he had been in the employment of the A.C.M. company. While living in Belt, Mr. Young made many lasting friends. He was a member of the Woodman of the World, and Knight of Pythias lodges.
