Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Michelle Barela; his mother Delora Moya; three daughters Angela Barela, Venessa Gardea and husband Manuel Gardea, and Chantelle Barela; five grandchildren Mariah, Elijah, Noah, Lynnea, and Arianna; many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Jesus and Maggie Barela, Uncle Manuel Barela, and Aunt Frances Luna.

His services held on Monday, Dec. 29th at San Juan Nepomuceno Church, Chilili, NM.
