Leonard Bert Eoff, 79, of Clyde, died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at an Abilene hospital.

Bert was born January 16, 1935, in Blanket, Brown County, Texas, to George Washington and Lucille McLaughlin Eoff.
He was a graduate of Blanket High School and was a truck driver for Merchant Motor Lines for 34 years. He married Barbara Snodgrass on June 14, 1957, in Blanket. They came to Clyde from Abilene in 1969. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clyde.

Bert is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Clyde; one son, Russell Bert Eoff and wife Jackie of Christoval; three daughters, Lou Ann Wilson and husband Jerald of Merkel, Rene Garrett and husband Richard of Grand Prairie and Debra Davis of Clyde; one brother, G. W. Eoff and wife Una Mae of Early; three sisters, Emma Jean Jones of Blanket, Doris Wheeler of Early and Mildred Haynie and husband Herschel of Humble; seven grandchildren, Cody Wilson, Joe Boyd, Joseph Wilson, Jessie Davis, Amanda Butler, Seth Eoff and Tara Eoff; and ten great-grandchildren, Victoria, Lillian, Darcy, Sam, Zane, Reid, Mae, Logan, Reagan and Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Bertha Nell Eoff; and one brother, Drew Eoff.
