ADA - Services for Craig Corvin, 76, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell
Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Larry Montgomery officiating. Burial follows at
Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors
at the cemetery.

Mr. Corvin died Monday, June 27, 2005, north of Byng. He was born July 7,
1928, at Pickett to Joseph B. Corvin and Jessie Mae Bennett Corvin. He
attended school at Pickett and Holdenville. He was self- employed in the oil
industry, worked for Ideal Cement for many years, where he retired. He served
in the U.S. Navy during World War II, in Korea, and was a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

He was married to Joan Corvin. She died April 19, 1998, at Ada.

Survivors include one son, Glen Corvin and wife Sue Ann, Jenks; one daughter,
Myrna Corvin, Yukon; companion, Beverly Bishop, of the home; one grandson,
Russell Corvin and wife Jaime, Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, J. B. Corvin and
wife Jewel, Ada, and Gerald Cox, Stigler; three sisters, Dixie Baker, Ore.;
Luevenie Westmoreland, Sacramento, Calif.; and Wanda Gannon, Sierra Vista,
Ariz.

Bearers are Johnny Jordan, Mike Beller, Mike Hamlin, Mark Ward, Alan Jarvis
and Mack Smith.
