MELBOURNE, FL--Austin John Hunter, 22, of Melbourne, FL, died on Saturday, October 21, 2006 in Melbourne.
Austin was born in Middletown, CT to John and Leanne Hunter and they moved to Brevard County, FL in 1990. He graduated from Liberty High School in Palm Bay, FL. He attended Brevard Community College in the Apprentice program and was an Electrician Apprentice for Tri-City Electric.
Austin was a member of GP Bikes, Prohealth Fitness Club and was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoyed motorcycling and rebuilding motorcycles, hang gliding, skydiving, hiking and walking the Cliff Walk in RI with his dad. He especially took great joy in helping others.
Austin is survived by his parents, John and Leanne Hunter of Melbourne, FL; his maternal grandparents, Alfredo & Carol Odoardi of Middletown, CT; uncles, Linn (Carol) Odoardi, Augustin Hunter Jr. and Dennis Hunter and Aunt Irene Petrarca; cousins, Eddie Odoardi and Marissa Oakely.
Calling hours are Friday, October 27, 2006 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Florida Funeral Home, Rockledge, FL.
Funeral services will take place Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Florida Memorial Gardens.
