Jennifer Dixon Camarda, of Newtown, Pa., passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 at The Birches of Newtown. She was 85.

Born in Andalusia and raised in Bristol, she had lived in Willingboro, N.J. and Long Beach Island before retiring to The Villages in Florida. While enjoying her time there, she became very active and volunteered at the local hospital.

She was the wife of the late Alexander Dixon and Ignatius Camarda; mother of the late Gerald and James Dixon; and mother-in-law of the late Bill Harvey. She is survived by her three children, Samuel 'Bud' Dixon (Faith), Patricia Williams (Kenny), and Kathleen Harvey; two daughters-in-law, Suzanne de Geer and Donna Dixon; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202, or a charity of the donor's choice.
