Jack Grant, carnival owner and motion picture projector operator, died Friday following a prolonged illness. He had lived in and around Coalgate for 20 years, and was born Dec 12, 1900, in Tennessee. He leaves his wife, Minerva, and a step-son, Wayne Grant.
Services will be Sunday at 1pm in the Missionary Baptist Church of Coalgate. Rev. Ben Wiley, Atoka, will officiate. Slater Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery.
