Chester R. Clay, 77, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, April 22 in Corsicana.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, with services scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday at Corley Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harold Scott will officiate and interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Clay was born Dec. 2, 1928 in Corsicana. He was involved in maintenance as a profession and served in the United States Coastguard.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Billy Cole, Sr. of Powell; daughter and son-in-law Donna and Lewis Picone of Corsicana; brother Coy T. Clay, Jr. of Pinellas Park Fla.; grandson and wife Billie Jr. and Shelly Cole of Groesbeck; granddaughter and husband Brandi and Tommy White of Sedalia, Mo.; granddaughter and husband Jaclyn and Rusty Randall of Purdon; eleven great-grandchildren; cousin Billie Jean Baker of Eureka; numerous cousins; deceased wife Joyce Clay and deceased parents Coy and Minnie Clay.

Two memorials are set up through the American Heart Association 1615 Stemmons Freeway Dallas, TX 75207 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3366 W. Hwy. 31 Corsicana, TX 75110.
