Kenneth J. Trimble, 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

He was born on November 11, 1927 in Ogden, son of Ben G. and Ethel E. Trimble.

On November 12, 1949 he was married to his lifelong sweetheart, Donna Lavon Huss.

Ken was in the Army and served for two years for the Westpoint Military Band, playing percussion instruments.

He had his own band and played at the White House ballroom in Ogden and the Eagles, Elks, churches, and Ogden Canyon Club.

Ken worked for Union Pacific Railroad and retired from there after 37 years.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Donna; one daughter and two sons, Kristie and Craig Field, Brent and Melanie Trimble, and Steven and Darcie Trimble all from the Ogden area. They have eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
