ALBERT J YOUNG
Albert J Young, 73, who has lived the past two years with his son, Clarence, in McElhattan, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday in the Extended Care Unit of the Lock Haven Hospital. His local address was 741 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven. He had been a hospital patient since April 30.
Born in Hublersburg. Mr. Young was the son [grandson]* of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Young. He worked for the New York and Pennsylvania Co., (Hammermill) until retiring eight years ago. Mrs. Rebecca Young his wife, died in 1945.
He leaves eight sons and five daughters: George and Clarence, McElhattan; Charles, Wilbur and LeRoy, Lock Haven; Robert, James and Kenneth, Jersey Shore; Mrs. Donald Winkleman, Valley Station, Ky.; Mrs. Wesley Miller, McElhattan; Mrs. John Markish, Towanda; Mrs. Glenn Swartz and Mrs. John Weber, Philadelhia; also 47 grandchildren, __ great-grandchildren, and a half-brother, Elmer Young of Beech Creek.
