Vivian Faye "Sis" Marshall, 77, of Paris went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Fry-Gibbs Chapel with the Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family may be visited at any other time at the home of Kenneth Marshall at 153 FM 2820 in the Hopewell Community.

She was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Paris, to Jewel and Bessie Stewart Cooley. She married Winfred Marshall in 1943. She was a great homemaker, raising seven children and touched many peoples lives. She worked at the Paris Public Library until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Marshall; son, Bobby D. Marshall; daughter, Nancy F. Bridgers; brother, Eugene Cooley; sister, Betty Bolton and parents, J.S. and Bessie Cooley.

She is survived by her children, Billy Marshall and wife, Kathy, Kenneth Marshall and wife, Marilyn, Charles Marshall and wife, Peggy, Johnny Marshall, Jerry Marshall and wife, Diana; grandchildren, Melinda Younger, Kelli Marshall, Christy Love, Laurie Dudley, Lynette Marshal, Brad, Michael, Amanda and Donna Marshall, Melissa Shoemate, Michelle Holmes, Cindy Nye, Tammie Bridgers, Kim Bridgers, Brian Bridgers and Lisa Stockton; numerous great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, Charles Bridgers.

Pallbearers are Brian Bridgers, Chad Nye, Ryan Armstrong, Michael Marshall, Blake Davis and Derek Armstrong.
