Anna May (Dunigan) Talbot, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 27, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Claude G. Talbot for 56 years.

Anna May was born on June 7, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Brotz) Dunigan. She was educated in Burlington, NJ graduating from Burlington High School.

Anna May worked as the office manager for National Die Co. in Wolcott for 34 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Wolcott Library. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church, a member of their rosary society, and enjoyed dancing and bingo. Anna May was a dedicated grandmother and loved to attend her grandchildren’s sporting events and recitals.


Besides her husband Claude, she leaves her sons Michael and his wife Maureen Talbot, Philip and his wife Donna Talbot all of Wolcott. Anna May also raised as her own, a niece Barbara Adams, nephew Richard Adams both of Wolcott, nephew Robert Adams and his wife Roseanne of Waterbury. She was adored by her grandchildren Adam, Jonathan, Alexander, Connor, Tyler and Jacob Talbot and Jeffrey and Kevin Adams. Anna May also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary and Frances.


Funeral was Tuesday 9:15 AM from The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a Mass at 10 AM. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
