John Edmond Crenshaw was born September 20, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on December 1, 2013.
John Crenshaw was a musician, a philosopher and a writer. In addition to being a thinker, he was a doer who had an enormous sense of responsibility. He worked for Southwestern Bell for thirty years in telephone directory assistance. Having studied music at Mt. View Collage and UT Arlington, he was a great musical influence for those who knew him. He also played in a variety of club bands including the Texas Roundup and performed solo at various venues.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Vicki Crenshaw; brothers Mark, David, and Larry Crenshaw; two step-children; two aunts; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
