Harvey L Lester, 72, of Burgettstown RD 4 died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, September 23, 1990 in St John Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.
He was born September 16, 1918 in Sharon, a son of Elmer and Edna Sue Sweet Lester.
Mr Lester was a driver for Weir-Cove Moving and Storage Co., Weirton, W Va. for 20 years before retiring in 1975. He was a Teamster.
He had lived in the Burgettstown area for the past 35 years.
On February 5, 1945 He married Dorothy Yost, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters; one son; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Robert, Richard and Charles.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday in the Jerome A Stefkovich Funeral home, Avella where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 with the Rev Thomas Johnson, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Eldersville officiating. Burial in Bethel Cemetery.
