Thomas Robert Krause, 72, passed away at home in Edmonds, Washington on November 1, 2014. He was born on October 20, 1942 in Seattle, Washington to June Adele Gadke and Riley Thurman Gilmore. He was later adopted by Robert Alford Krause. He graduated from Ingram High School and went into the U.S. Navy as a Boatswain's Mate 3. He then worked as a mechanic for John Fluke for 37 years before retiring in 1995. Thomas loved working on old cars, fishing, gardening. But he especially loved his family and friends. He is preceded in death by mother, June Gadke, father, Riley Gilmore and adopted father, Robert Krause. He is survived by children, Kimberly Jean Peterson and Keri Jean Krause; grand-children, Emmett and Samuel Gray; and step-mother, Bertha Gilmore of Gold Bar, Wash. A Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. "My spirit is Free but I'll never depart. As long as you keep me alive in you heart"
