Funeral services for Annie Mae Husung, 94, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen.
Mrs. Husung died Dec. 24, 2014, in Belton. She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Coryell County to John and Bessie Johns Spurlin.
She was an avid gardener and outdoors person who loved her family and was the center of all occasions such as birthdays and other gatherings. She worked as a lunchroom employee at Fowler Elementary and at Pershing Park Elementary.
Mrs. Husung was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Husung; daughter, Zona Duncan; and four of her siblings, Mildred Delano, Ellis Spurlin, Clarence Spurlin and Joe Spurlin.
Survivors include her son, Jack W. Husung Sr. and his wife, Lucille; son-in-law, Payton Duncan; a sister, Bernice McLaren; five grandchildren, Teri Hawkins, Jack W. Husung Jr., Jana Shardonofsky, Rebecca Maindelle and Julie Gallaway; and eight great-grandchildren.
