Mr. Manges Death Told
Word has been received here of the death of William M. Manges, 72, of Route 2, Box 2621, Stanaway, Wash. who died there Tuesday, Oct. 10, at his home. He was a former resident of this area and a member of Teamsters No. 313, (formerly the Timer’s Union), Amalgumated Ass. of Street, Elec., Road and Motor Coach Employees of America, Connellsville, Lost Cord and UMWA of Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife, Bessie Manges; four sons: George of Tacoma, Wash.; Ray and E. H. both of Parkland, Wash., and Jerry of Avonmode, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Murphy of Federal Way, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Van Sickle and Mrs. Clara Friend, both of Warren, Ohio; nine grandchildren and one great grandson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dryer Mortuary, 229 S. 134th St., Tacoma, Wash. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Dryer’s Fir Lane Chapel, 924 E. 1016th St., Stanaway, Wash. with Rev. John Braudner officiating. Memorials may be given to the building fund of the Claver Creek Baptist Church, 3509 Military Rd., Stanaway, Wash.
