Robert was born August 30, 1941 in Scioto County to the late John Leslie Coyle and Elsie Marie "Wagner" Coyle. Robert was retired from NCR as a Field Engineer. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 23.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Linda "Coles" Coyle, whom he married October 27, 1971 in Alexandria, Virginia, his parents, five brothers, Howard, Don, Dick, Earl and Carl and three sisters, Mary, Dorothy and Emma.
He is survived by three sons, Robert G. Coyle, Jr., Steven Henry Coyle and John Palmer Coyle, a daughter, Rhonda Dawn Coyle, and a niece, Dorothy Jean Newsome, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Pastor Jim Vallance will officiate and burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
