A national winner in the 1955 Girls Friendly Society writing competition, she earned a three month trip to the United Kingdom that inspired a lifetime of writing as well as friendships near and far. In 1958 to Reverend John Pasco in Bristol, Conn. She became a mother to three beautiful children, and loved her roles as a pastor's wife, Sunday school teacher and Scout leader.
In 1988, Rosanne was diagnosed with the first of several cancers. Always the fighter, she responded by founding The Mustard Seed Cancer Support Group. Reflective of Rosanne's outlook on life, the group's mantra remains "from bedroom slippers back to dancing shoes." Rosanne has helped and provided advice and encouragement to hundreds of cancer patients and family members.Rosanne is survived by: her three children; four grandchildren; one brother; one sister; and countless friends. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at St. Michael's Anglican Church in Broken Arrow with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to The American Cancer Society (cancer.org) or the Scott Carter Foundation (www.scottcarterfoundation.org).
