Velma died of breast cancer in 1946. Her parents were Thomas Joraz and Sadie Jane (Porterfield) Doyle.She has no stone but is buried next to her first husband Leo Burgess, right next to her son, Leo Eugene, grandson, Dennis Lee, and her other son Elvin Leroy.
