Obituary
Services for Tommie (Tommy??) Ray Wells, 83, of Quitman, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 27, 2014 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, with Bro. George Decker officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.

He passed away December 25, 2014 in Daingerfield, Texas. Tommie was born June 11, 1931 in Manitou, OK to Tommy and Millie Leona Wells.

Tommie grew up in Dallas and joined the United States Air Force at the age of 16. He served his country during the Korean War. He met his wife while in the Air Force, and they were married on August 22, 1951 in Phoenix. They moved to Canton in 1970 and joined Tundra Baptist Church. Tommie enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in his shop in his spare time. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren as well.

Tommie is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Pauline Wells, Son, Kevin Barry Wells, and a Sister, Esta Lee Hinton.

Pallbearers are Brandi Wells, Justin Wells, Brandon Wells, Brian Wells, Brent Wells, and Mike Goggans. Honorary Pallbearer is James Sides.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
