Frances E. Henry Baldwin, 81, of 597 Williams Road, LeRaysville, Pa., passed away Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of Memorial Hospital, Towanda, Pa.
Frances was born in Nichols, N.Y. on March 18, 1933, the daughter of Minor and Mary Jane Davison Henry. She grew up in Warren Center, Pa., attending school there and later married Elson Everett Baldwin on April 26, 1954. In early years, Frances was employed by Pipher's Diner in Wysox and was later employed by the J.A. Dress Company in Standing Stone, Pa., for a number of years. Frances loved spending time with her family and enjoyed working word search books.
Surviving are her children Anna Chilson and husband, Jerry of Rome, Wanda Jackson and husband, Paul of Towanda, Anita Clearwater and husband, Doug of LeRaysville, Everett Baldwin and wife, Trudi of LeRaysville, Judy Hawthorn and husband, Brian of LeRaysville, and Michael Baldwin and wife, Kim of Rome;
10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her special little angel Crystal Clearwater of LeRaysville,
Gladys Allyn of Utah who is a loving second mother to Frances; as well as several siblings and their families.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Elson Everett Baldwin on December 27, 2011, and by an infant son Dale Baldwin on May 12, 1968.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the H.O.P.S. Ambulance Association in care of James W. Seipler, Secretary/Treasurer, 606 Ridge Road, Rome, PA 18837 in Frances E. Baldwin's memory. The Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home of Towanda, Pa., is assisting the Baldwin Family with arrangements.
