Arthur (Ole) was the son of Anton & Oldie (Zemlicka) Lupinek,was born on March 30,1916 near Twin Brooks, SD.

He was united in marriage to Elvie Thelin on March 24, 1934 at Watertown, SD. At his death they had been married forty-two years.

He served in the United States Army from November 4, 1942
to September 8, 1945.

Before moving to Goodwin, Mr. Lupinek had lived in Twin Brooks, Watertown and Summit. They had also lived in Oregon for several years. While living in Watertown, he owned Lup's Auto Service. Mr. Lupinek was a mechanic and a welder and was presently working at Kliegle's Garage in Goodwin at the time of his death.

He was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Goodwin.

He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter.

Surviving are his wife of Goodwin: four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Delores) Tiffany of Montevideo, MN; Mrs. Richard (Janice) Hubbartt of rural Watertown; Mrs. Orlyn (Judy) Gapp of South Shore; Mrs. David (Pamela) Krause of Bemis; twp sons, Keith Lupinek of Madison, WI., and Jim (Penny)Lupinek of Ranier, WA; his mother, Mrs. Oldie Lupinek Pipestone, MN; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Forman of Pipestone, MN; Mrs. Alice Smith of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Foreman of Twin Brooks; three brothers, Robert Lupinek of Oildale, CA; Edward Lupinek of Summit and Ralph Lupinek of Vienna; nineteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
