SILVER SPRING, Md. - Lloyd L. Keicher, 75, died Sunday evening at Forest Glen Nursing Home in Silver Spring, where he and his wife lived.

Mr. Keicher is survived in Greeneville, Tenn., by a sister and brother-in-law: Billie Jo and John Reed, and by several nieces, nephews and cousins in Greene County, Tenn.



He was born in Mohawk, Tenn., Sept. 28, 1924, a son of the late Lace L. and Stella B. Keicher. In 1931 the Keicher family moved to Greeneville where his father had a custom ground feed and seed business.

Mr. Keicher, a Lutheran, was confirmed in Reformation Lutheran Church in Greeneville. He was graduated from Greeneville High School in 1943 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific.

He was an area manager with R. Mars Furniture Distributor and also with Montgomery Ward in Silver Spring, from which he was retired.

Survivors, in addition to those listed previously, include his wife of 50 years: Lois Pitman Keicher; a brother and sister-in-law: Sammy and Jean Keicher of Kingsport, Tenn.; another sister and brother-in-law: Jeane K. and Deane Pritchett of Tullahoma, Tenn., and other family and friends in Silver Spring.

The body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
