Donna Jean Hatfield, age 64, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on December 25, 2014. She was born July 26, 1950 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan, the daughter of the late Thomas Lockhart and the late Marie Hartwell Lockhart. She was employed in child care services with the Sunshine House and attended Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Hatfield of Villa Rica; daughters and son-in-law, Shondell & Tony Brewer of Villa Rica and Marion Jean Hatfield of Dallas, Georgia; sisters: Violet Shaw of Fayetteville, Paula Kendrick of Douglasville, Kathy Durden of Dallas, Georgia and Brenda Smith, also of Douglasville; brother, Tommy Lockhart of Eastman, Georgia; and three grandchildren: Shannon Leigh Brewer, Amber Paige Brewer, and Jessica Marie Hatfield. In keeping with her wishes, the body has been cremated. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Scott Thomas and Mr. Mike Blakemore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
