Shirley Maxine Strand Jorgensen
Shirley Jorgensen was 90 when she passed peacefully in her home in Lake Stevens, Wash. late Friday December 19, 2014. She is the cherished mother of five daughters, Candy Jo Decker (John), April Jorgensen, Linda Jeroue (Norbert), Valerie Perrigoue (Bob) and Adele Boomer (Robert), all of whom were by her side when she passed. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Strand (Angela); 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Born in Gary, Minn. where she grew up and earned her teaching degree, she and her family later relocated to Washington in 1967. She lived in Lake Stevens the final 43 years of her life. She dearly loved her family, her dogs, gardening, and teaching and playing the piano. Shirley joins her beloved husband, Delmar William Jorgensen, WWII Navy Veteran, with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. Funeral services will begin at noon followed by grave-side services Monday December 29th at Floral Hills in Lynnwood, WA. She is dearly loved and missed, and will never be forgotten.
