A resident of Denham Springs and former longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Audrey died at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Friday, May 30, 2014. She was 85 and a native of Baton Rouge. Audrey was a retired Hancock Bank employee with over thirty years of service. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Wednesday, June 4, from 9 am until religious services at 10 am conducted by the Rev. Max Landry. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her sister, Lucille Swoboda; nephews, Melvin Swoboda and wife Shirley, Paul Swoboda and wife Judy, Bill Swoboda and wife Meg, Jerry Swoboda and Michael Cantacessi; nieces, Kitty Menking and husband Kurt, Jo Ann Cantacessi and Marla Whittington and husband Will. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Watson and Annie Cotton Watson; and a sister, Juanita Cantacessi. Audrey was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
