Alcorn, Rufus, 76, of Bazaar, KS, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. The son of Clell and Alberta Alcorn, he was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Valley Center High School in 1956. He and Caroline Steele were married May 23, 1975. He was a machinist for Boeing in Wichita for 38 years. He was Past Master of Masonic Lodge #364 in Valley Center and was a member of Sunflower Woodworkers Guild and the Chairman of the Toy Committee. He enjoyed making toys for less fortunate children. He was always there to help anyone who needed him.
