PITMAN -- Charles 'Sam' Schultz, 80, of Pitman RR 1 died Monday in Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville.
He was a retired carpenter who had worked for Herman Miller and Sons, Hegins, and Lewis Miller, Valley View; attended Hegins Twp. High School; was a Protestant; an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II; and a member of Woodmen of the World Camp 433 and Mahantongo Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Orpha E. Maurer Schultz; a son, Robert A. of Media; a daughter, Diane L. Fedako of Ashland; a brother, Palmer of Elizabethville RD; five sisters, Gertrude Dietz of Klingerstown RR 1, Irene Bernas of Kulpmont, Geraldine Heim of Valley View, Norma Fetterolf of Hegins and Betty Schleig of Shamokin RR 2; and five grandchildren.
Services were held in Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RR 1. Burial was in St. Paul E.C. Cemetery, Pitman RR 1.
