Opal Marie Lee, 86, of Fort White, Florida and formerly of Kissimmee, passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2011 in Fort White.
Opal was born in Wood River, Illinois on February 26, 1925, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace (McDevitt) Jackson.
She was a member of a pioneer Osceola County Family.
She was preceded in death by four children, Arthur Lee, Ella Pritchard, Grace Marie Lee and Carol Jean Barber.
Opal is survived by four daughters,
Nancy Jane wife of Robert Sheridan of Fort White; Mamie M. Chambers of Palm Coast;
Rosetta F. wife of Billy Thomas of Osceola County; Anna A. Lee of Inverness;
two sons Lawrence J. husband of Tonda Lee of Oklahoma; Kenneth E. Lee of Colorado.
She is also survived by 25 Grandchildren and 45 Great Grandchildren,
2 Great Great Grandchildren.
a sister, Eileen Pierson of Jacksonville, Illinois.
Services will be conducted on Saturday October 29, 2011 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Kissimmee, with Chaplain Hugh Lollis officiating.
