Olivia Gloria Hamilton Wood, 83 years of age, departed this life on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
Olivia was born in New York, New York on March 22nd, 1931, daughter of the late John William and Olive Fraser Hamilton. Olivia was a retired family counselor.
Olivia was survived by three children, Katheryn (and Kerry) Wehmeyer and Thomas (and Jayne) Wood, both of Bourbon County, Kentucky, and David (and Connie) Wood of Florida; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Wood, Zachary Wood, Kelsey Wehmeyer, Catherine Wood, and Shawn Wehmeyer; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John William Hamilton and Olive Hamilton; and her husband, John Charles Wood.
Visitations were held after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home in Paris, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 in the Chapel of the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ellcessor officiating.
Burial followed in the Miami Memorial Park in Miami, Florida.
