Born February 7, 1930 in Salfordville, he was the son of the late Ervin and Lizzie Etta (Weller) Long.
Warren enjoyed working with animals and worked the family dairy farm for over 40 years, after retiring from dairy farming he continued to raise corps into his 80’s. Warren was a life-long member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. He enjoyed the outdoors and viewing all kinds of wildlife. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandsons.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Randall Long and his wife Ann of Salfordville; his grandchildren Zachary, Alex, Branden; and his sisters, Pearl Myers, Lizzietta Overpeck, Gladys Long, and Susan Detweiler.
He was predeceased by his son Barry Long in 2004 and his sister Emma Allebach.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Township), where friends may call to greet the family from 10-11AM. Interment will follow at Salford Mennonite Church Cemetery.
