Parents: John and Mary (Gentry) Bagwell.

She grew up in Colorado, and Stockton, California, before moving to Grants Pass, Oregon, in her high school years. Eva graduated from Grants Pass High School.

On September 24, 1948, she married the dashing Joseph Clement, ”the most handsome man she ever met,” in Wilderville, Oregon. Together they raised three daughters and one son.

Eva and Joe lived in the Grants Pass area until moving to Roseburg, Oregon, in 1959 where they lived until 1975, when they moved to Post Falls, Idaho. In 1992, they moved back to Applegate, Oregon, where they were members of the Applegate Community Church.

Eva had worked at Sprouse-Ritz and the Roseburg School District. Eva had a passion for her Lord and her family. She also was very involved in children’s and women’s ministries. As time allowed, she also enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and crossword puzzles.

Eva, age 85, of Medford, Oregon, went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014, at her home with family by her side.

Eva is survived by Joseph Clement, her dear husband of 66 years. She is also survived by three daughters and one son. Edie Preston (Tenmile, OR), Shirley Collins (Medford, OR), and Mary Zimmerman (Williams, OR), Thomas Clement (Post Falls, ID). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Bagwell; three brothers Herman Bagwell, James Bagwell and Donald Bagwell; and one sister Laurene Haag.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Applegate Community Church on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.
