Reba I. Thompson, 87, passed away peacefully at her Mitchellville home on December 21, 2014.Reba was born February 1, 1927, in Peru, Iowa. She was the youngest of 5 children born to Leonard and Versa (Hiatt) Hamand. Reba will be missed by her husband, Rex; children, Mark Thompson (Betty) of Knoxville, and Cindy McCoun (Mark) of Mitchellville; grandchildren, Jason Whiteley, Jennifer Porter (Chad), Nick McCoun (Mollie), and Heather Kendall (Cory); as well as 8 great-grandchildren. Reba was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and three sisters.
